Hello!
I’m Christina Morris, an integrated wellness specialist with over 25 years of experience, trained in acupuncture, functional medicine, esthetics, reflexology, and Maya abdominal therapy, offering holistic, personalized care.
I am a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where I earned my Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), and I hold a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine (2000). I am a licensed acupuncturist in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture and Herbology), and board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I earned a Medical Cannabis Care diploma from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego (2022) and am a current student at the Institute for Functional Medicine. I am also a New York state licensed esthetician.
My clinical training includes internships in acupuncture, Chinese herbology, and tui na at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have studied with many gifted teachers in the healing arts, including Giovanni Maciocia, Kiiko Matsumoto, Richard Tan, and Arya Nielsen, and completed specialized training in acupuncture for cancer patients (Memorial Sloan Kettering), cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling, craniosacral therapy (Upledger Institute), and Thai bodywork in both Thailand and New York City. I am also a Maya abdominal therapy practitioner and a certified reflexologist, including training in maternity reflexology. I have also worked extensively with leading supplement companies to support clinical wellness protocols.
In 2001, I founded Element Natural Healing Arts in Brooklyn, NY, to offer an integrative approach to healing. I am also a partner in Madison Square Chiropractic and Acupuncture and have served as an Acupuncture Consultant for The Well in NYC, supporting the development and growth of their East Asian medicine division. I have written and contributed to numerous published articles in the health and wellness space and have been featured in Vogue, Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen, LiveStrong, and NBC News.
My clinical focus includes immune, hormonal, digestive, musculoskeletal, and stress-related concerns, as well as anxiety and chronic pain. I strongly believe that education is foundational to sustainable health and empowered decision-making.
Morris Holistic is my educational platform, guiding individuals to better understand their health and make thoughtful, informed choices around supplementation and lifestyle. I live in waterfront Brooklyn, New York, with my husband and two children, and I am deeply committed to helping people find balance, vitality, and well-being.
